It's birthday time at our house. We celebrated Matthew's 2nd birthday today! Like it or not, my little buddy is a growing boy. His official party will be on Saturday, but we couldn't resist having a tiny little celebration after dinner tonight, with a tiny little cake and a couple of tiny little presents. I've posted a couple of photos on the right-hand side of my blog for you to see. Aside from being really really upset when he couldn't get his new Thomas train out of the packaging quickly enough, he really enjoyed himself. :)

So yesterday the FedEx man delivered my brand-spankin' new LARGE FORMAT PRINTER, and ever since, I have been trying to coax a big, beautiful large format photograph out of it, so far, to no avail. Every time I try to print, I get a very hurtful error message saying that I've loaded the paper incorrectly - yeah, uh huh, except I haven't. I'll have to call the very talented tech support folks at Epson tomorrow and get their expert advice. I use a Mac, and that may be part of the problem. It's never as straightforward as with a PC. If anyone out there has successfully printed using an Epson Stylus Photo R1900, please reveal your secrets!

Have I mentioned that I love Cathy Zielske? She is my all-time favorite designer. Lately I've been re-reading her two books about simple scrapbooking and thus I have created a simple layout all my own. It's my ode to Cathy and Simple Scrapbooks magazine, also my favorite, for which Mrs. Zielske is Creative Director. I don't think I've ever made anything simpler (more simple?). It's all about the photos, and I love how clean it looks. Hope you'll love it, too!

good luck with your printer. Things like that usually happen anytime I buy anything new, it is never "plug and play" like they say it will be. Oh, and how jealous am I that you got a large format printer. I have been wanting one for a while now!!!! I can't wait to see what the pictures look like after you figure out how to print them.
