The World According to Jeanne

Design Team meets tomorrow night, so here it is, my most recent assignment (click on the layout for a larger image). I was given lots of new Halloween papers and embellishments from Little Yellow Bicycle. I know y'all must be tired of looking at these photos by now, but when I created the page, I hadn't taken any new Halloween photos yet this year. It's a little busy for my taste, but I really enjoyed working with this product line. Lots of fun stuff! Besides the LYB line, I used Making Memories letter stickers and chipboard alphas, glitter rub-ons by Doodlebug, silver paint by Adirondack (these paint dabbers are awesome - no mess!), button spider by Paper Bliss (this has been in my stash for at least 4 years), red bling by MAMBI, versamark, circle stamp by Stampin Up, Bazzill cardstock, pop dots & googly eyes. The challenges I met were: 1) use rub-ons on chipboard, 2) use paint, 3) distress, 4) use gel pens (bat eyes), and 5) stamp tone-on-tone paper. Fun! I am so bummed that my time on Design Team is coming to an end. I have had so much fun, gotten to know some really great people, and learned so much! Boo hoo. :(

Jenny Craig update: In four weeks, I've lost 9 lbs. I am literally starving my ass off.

I decided around Labor Day to redo my scraproom. I've been replacing mismatched folding tables with ones made of actual wood, painting and organizing. I'm waiting on an estimate from the electrician, but should have lots of new lighting by the end of next week. I still have lots to paint, but I'm hoping to be done by the end of the Thanksgiving holidays. Stay tuned for a sneak peek!!
