Today's Photo

Woke up to a beautiful morning, so after I dropped the older kids at school, I took Matt for a bike ride around our neighborhood. Needless to say, he was all into it! Such a tough little guy in his ball cap and monkey pj's! Hoping to post my layout for Week 3 soon. I'm trying to keep my head above water, and Week 4 is almost over!!

I have been wanting to get a new camera for a while now. At the beginning of 2006, Gil surprised me with a Nikon D70s, my first digital SLR. It's great, and I love it, but only has 6.2 megapixels. In the last 3 years, Nikon has introduced a few new models with better capabilities. SO! I am looking hard at the D90, which has 12.3 mps. I was considering one of the cameras from the professional series, but after a call to a Nikon rep, I really think that those are way too much camera for me. I would be spending money on features I probably won't ever use. Anyone out there have a D90?? How do you like it???

Have a great day, enjoy the sunshine! :)

I have the Nikon D80 a couple of lens. My most recent lens is the Nifty 50 1.4f. This was the lens that Karen Russell recommended. I just love my Nikon camera. it offers alot of features. I can only guess that the D90 would be a great choice. my brother has a degree in photography but works as an RN. He was so impressed with the Nikon camera and lens that he asked my husband to take is child's senior pics. Notice I said he asked my husband to shoot :)

ok, that is the cutest picture ever!!!! I knew it wouldn't be long until you got a new camera, lol. I think if you google customer reviews you will find lots of info on the D90. I have heard great things about Nikon, so I really don't think you can go wrong.

Hey! Those monkey pj's look very familiar! :) I'm jealous you live somewhere warm enough to be out on your bike today. We are shivering here in Idaho. Great pic!
