Project Life

Many of you might remember the "Project 365" mess last year - highly advertised album kits which sold out within minutes leaving many people quite unhappy with Creating Keepsakes magazine. Well, this year Becky Higgins created a very similar kit for her own company, called "Project Life" and I ordered it! It arrived at the beginning of this week, and I just finished my "layout" for week 1! For anyone not familiar with the concept, the idea is to take a photo a day (or as many days as you can), add a bit of journaling and make a weekly layout for the entire year. At the end of 2010, you should have a pretty cool documentation of your family's life for the entire year. It's REALLY easy because you're not actually creating a layout. You simply tuck your pictures into the pockets in the page protectors, do the same with the provided journaling cards and you're done! So here's a look at the first week of January at our house!

You are a much better and braver women than me! I think this concept is so cool, but it's something I just don't have time to fit into my schedule. I love the journaling part of it. I so need to start journaling more...it's already hard to remember a week ago much less years ago! Congrats to you, I think this is awesome!

love it!!! I did Project 365 on my own (no kit) and while it did take some effort and complaining, I finished it!! It is a great way to go back and look at the everyday life of your family. Good luck with the project!
