Design Team met on Weds. night for the first time in a couple of months, and it sure was great to see everyone again. We got an awesome assignment, and I can't wait to get to work on it! At the meeting, we were talking about the creative process, and how each of us works to get to a completed layout. My process starts with a sketch. I am a sketch-happy girl! I use draft paper, so that I can figure out exactly where each element is going to go before I get started. It's addicting! If I don't have time to scrap, sketching is my next-best thing. So I am posting my latest layout along with the sketch that I created beforehand. If you find it difficult sometimes to get the ideas flowing, consider picking up a pad of graph paper and see what happens. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised!

OH! To anyone who views this blog, please POST A COMMENT! Even if we've never met, I love to get feedback from all you scrappers out there. I love to check my blog and see that I've gotten a new comment - it makes me feel loved! :) Thanks!
