Matt-a-Pillar

I somehow managed to convince Matthew, then 5, to dress up as The Very Hungry Caterpillar for Halloween in 2011. Because his older brother/best friend/constant companion was (and remains!) such a Pokemon fanatic, I was sure that Matt would reject my suggestion in favor of a Pikachu or Squirtle or Bulbasaur costume. Perhaps his love for his favorite book is what did the trick, I'm not sure. I'm just glad that he happily went with the flow, and I was able to get a few really sweet photos of Matt in his caterpillar costume. He insisted on holding his VHC stuffy for the pictures, which only made a cute caterpillar cuter!

Here is the page I created documenting my sweet boy's Halloween appearance as the one and only Very Hungry Caterpillar! The patterned paper is Echo Park's new Paper & Glue collection. I love Echo Park! I'm always on the lookout for their new releases. Anyway, on with the show . . .

Cute, huh? Very "old-school" scrapbooking, my usual. I'm happy with the end result, so into the album it goes!

Until next post, thanks for stopping by! :)
